After years of searching for a place that truly felt like home, they created Blejska Hiša – a place of warmth, authentic Slovenian food, and heartfelt smiles.

But a part of that childlike curiosity remained – something that refused to grow up.
And so a magical café and patisserie was born – Janko & Metka, where fairy-tale charm meets the scent of homemade desserts.

Janko and Metka no longer live in a small wooden cottage in the forest.
Today, they live in Bled – in Blejska Hiša, when we crave homemade lunch, and in Janko & Metka, when our hearts long for something sweet and playful.
